HealthConnect247: 2024 Year in Review

Bamise Adeseun

As we approach the close of 2024, it is incredible to reflect on the milestones and initiatives that have defined HealthConnect247’s journey this year. From community engagement to advancing telemedicine, each step has reaffirmed our commitment to transforming healthcare access in Nigeria and beyond.

Innovative Partnerships and Industry Leadership

The year began on a strong note with our partnership with Hallmark HMO during their Stakeholders Engagement 3.0 event. This platform allowed us to showcase the transformative power of telehealth through live demonstrations of the HealthConnect247 video call app. Stakeholders had the opportunity to experience firsthand how our technology connects users to licensed medical professionals. The event emphasized the importance of technology in reforming healthcare delivery, bringing together industry leaders and experts.

Showcasing Telemedicine at Glo Experience Center

In May, we had the privilege of hosting a live demo webinar at the Glo Experience Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. This event offered Glo’s top management staff an in-depth look at our telemedicine solutions, highlighting how the HealthConnect247 video call app can redefine healthcare delivery by providing seamless access to care.

Commitment to Community Social Responsibility

HealthConnect247’s commitment to community engagement was evident in our quarterly CSR initiatives. One highlight was a medical outreach in partnership with a Lagos estate, where residents received free wellness checks and consultations. This initiative not only reinforced our connection with the community but also introduced more individuals to our telemedicine services.

Advocating for Mental and Sexual Health

May’s Mental Health Awareness Month saw us engage directly with students at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) through a vox pop campaign. These conversations shed light on the mental health challenges faced by young Nigerians and their coping mechanisms. Additionally, in collaboration with OneHealthNG, we provided female students at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka with education on sexual and reproductive health. The initiative also included wellness checks and consultations, making a significant impact on their lives.

Driving Change in Underserved Communities

Our partnership with SCIDaR, a non-profit organization, further extended our reach into underserved communities, improving health outcomes through telemedicine.

Looking Ahead

As 2024 concludes, HealthConnect247 remains steadfast in our mission to make healthcare accessible, innovative, and impactful. Here’s to another year of milestones and meaningful connections!
